International Summer School on
MS-based Metabolomics Data Processing

Granada, 14th to 18th September 2026

The International Summer School on MS-Based Metabolomic Data Processing (ISS-MetMS26), to be held in Granada (Spain) in 2026, aims to provide early-stage researchers (Master and PhD students, early postdoctoral fellows, young laboratory technicians, and engineers) with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively process MS-derived metabolomic data.

Adopting a distinctly multidisciplinary approach, the school seeks to facilitate the learning of key techniques and computational tools essential for rigorous and efficient metabolomic data analysis.

The event will host approximately 50 international participants and represents an excellent opportunity for young scientists to strengthen their data analysis skills. At the same time, it offers a dynamic and collaborative international environment in which participants can expand their professional networks and share experiences with peers equally passionate about metabolomics data processing.

The programme combines lectures and interactive workshops, including hands-on sessions focused on the latest advances in metabolomics data analysis and computational tools. Participants will receive guidance throughout the entire metabolomics data processing workflow, covering quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), data pre-processing, normalization, curation, statistical analysis, metabolite annotation, biological interpretation, and multi-omics data integration.
