PRESENTATION

The Organising Committee of the 2nd National Congress and 1st International Congress of Advanced Schools Building Engineering and Technical Architecture is pleased to invite you to present papers for the congress to be held at the Advanced Technical School for building engineering at the University of Granada on 9 and 10 November 2023.

This is the second national and first international meeting between teachers, students and administrative staff from schools offering university degrees in the professional qualification of Technical Architecture. It aims to be an international forum to reflect on the interests, problems and future challenges in university teaching, training and research.

We should be aware of a fundamental change that has taken place in the university environment which has led to the adoption of a new role and professional identity for teachers. This, together with the new role required of students, is making it possible to move from teaching based on teaching to another based on learning. The acquisition of digital skills together with the introduction of the most innovative teaching methods and active learning strategies are bringing about important changes in educational standards. These changes should be shared so that we can nourish ourselves as a group and achieve the common goal of training competent professionals with sufficient critical and reflective skills to adapt their expertise to an ever-changing world.
