Keynote Lecture: Emergent dynamics and control of active magnetic fluids
Dr. Alexey Snezhko is a Scientist and Principal Investigator at Materials Science Division, Argonne National Laboratory. He received his PhD in Physics and Materials Research from Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic in 2001. After a postdoctoral stay at University of South Carolina he joined the Materials Science Division of Argonne National Laboratory first as a postdoctoral researcher, then as a recipient of the Fermi Fellowship, and since 2008 as a Scientist. His recent research focuses on collective dynamics and self-organization in out-of-equilibrium colloids with complex interactions.
